This system is exactly the same as the Martingale with one difference: you add one unit when you double your bet. This means you have the possibility of winning back your stake and making an extra bet.

- If you bet SEK 20 on black. You lose if red comes up.
- Now you bet SEK 41 (20+20+1), still on black. You lose.
- Now you bet 83 (41+41+1). You win and the pay-out from the bank is SEK 83.

In this case, your winnings are SEK 83 – 41 – 20 = SEK 22. In the regular Martingale system this sequence would have been 80-40-20=SEK 20.
